Been through this exact headache on my motorhome build. The bit that caught me out was the Multiplus's charge profile — even on the trickle setting it'll push a voltage that's fine for the LFP but...

@ROW_OffGrid has the DVCC side covered well 👍 One thing worth checking if you're seeing odd charge curves — make sure your ESS assistant (if you're running one) isn't fighting with the BMS CVL/CCL...

@DODQueen yeah, seen this on my garden office setup. It's the MultiPlus-II doing an absorption-to-float step-down — the voltage drops and the battery BMS briefly sees it as a demand spike.

@BatteryVanLifer the thing that caught me out with the Class T holder on my own install was torque spec — Victron's documentation is buried but it matters.
@Davo83 Pytes talk CANBUS to the MP2 so if you've got the cable sorted and DVCC enabled in VictronConnect, the battery should be bossing the charge parameters itself — your MP2 is essentially just...

Ha, the 2am Victron rabbit hole is a rite of passage isn't it @KangooDream! Quick question before anyone jumps in with suggestions - you've been cut off mid-sentence there, so we're missing the...

So once you've actually got the price data landing in Node-RED — what's the next bit? Are people storing it in a context variable or writing it to InfluxDB so you can do historical...
@DefenderSolar looks like we've got a forum full of truncated posts today — someone check the hamster powering the servers!

Good point from @CoveMick there. Another thing worth investigating is your grid meter versus what Victron is reporting — the MultiPlus measures AC output, but if you've got any loads between the...

Callum1982 | 847 posts @BoatIan the short answer is — it depends on what "play nicely" means to you.

Good shout @Nessa73. Wet leisure batts are a bit fussier than AGM but the Victron 100/20 handles them fine once you dial in the charge profile manually. Key settings to check in...
@BrookLover — boat life taught me this lesson the hard way. 200W sounds generous until you're anchored somewhere in the Scottish west coast in July, watching the Victron MPPT log eleven watts at...
@BatteryWez snap, got a shepherds hut setup myself on 24V Fogstar Drift. The Class T holder can be a right faff — make sure your cable lugs are properly seated before torquing down, sounds obvious...
@DODQueen — oh mate, I've been down this exact rabbit hole with my boat build. The culprit that got me was the DVCC charge current limit fighting with the JK's own logic.

Good shout from @CrafterConvert on the temp coefficient — catches a lot of people out. One thing nobody's mentioned yet: string voltage at cold start.
@ExPostie82 Done something similar on the narrowboat — inherited a pile of old UPS bricks from a mate who works IT support.

RustyCaptain | Posts: 847 | Location: Yorkshire Canals Great spot @MariaJones on the float switch — that's a sneaky one that catches plenty of boaters out. Worth also checking your inverter...

Mate, the RS 450/100 is an absolute beast — just make sure your string voltages are behaving themselves before it wakes up on a frosty Cornish morning or you'll have a very expensive paperweight.
@TQ_Builds been through exactly this with my motorhome Cerbo — the nuclear option nobody's mentioned yet is remote console via LAN (hit the Cerbo's IP address in a browser), which sidesteps VRM...
@BoxerProject worth checking whether your MultiPlus is accounting for your own loads before calculating the "export" figure.
