Like New! Tesla 7.6kW Solar Inverter w/ Site Controller – 1538000-45-D for sale!
Interesting listing — not something you see every day on here, that's for sure. Tesla's solar kit is still a bit of an enigma to me.

question on multiple battery banks of different capaciities - each with their own BMS - in a Victron system
Been down this rabbit hole myself with the static van setup, so thought I'd chip in. The short answer is it can work, but the devil's in the detail.

Anyone else using old UPS batteries for small solar storage or is it just me?
@JA_Solar this takes me right back to how I got started with my static caravan setup. Stumbled across a skip outside a data centre in Swindon with four perfectly healthy 12V sealed lead-acid units...

Auslegung Grenzbereich BlueSolar SmartSolar MPPT Tracker für PV Module mit hoher Modulspannung
@VanBarry already flagged the title going rogue, so I'll skip past that. This exact scenario nearly caught me out with my static van setup last winter.

solar to an existing victron battery?
@CoastalCamper did something very similar on my static caravan setup, though rather than a Transit I had the joy of routing cables under skirting boards and through increasingly creative holes in...

Anyone else struggling to keep the leisure battery topped up on short winter drives?
Right, so I know this is the motorhome forum and I'm usually lurking from the static caravan corner, but hear me out — I spent three winters living mobile before I planted myself on a site, and...

Quattro identifying as multi plus 2 cant install correct firmware
@FETFan oh this takes me back — had almost the exact same pantomime with my static caravan setup. Picked up a secondhand Quattro 48/3000 that someone had clearly been poking around in with...

Dual Victron MultiPlus Setup with Separate Batteries on a Shared AC Bus
@AnneButler this is basically what I ended up doing almost by accident with my static caravan setup.

Static caravan solar — worth going bigger than you think from the start?
Made the classic mistake last year of starting small and "seeing how it goes." Fitted a single 200W panel on the roof of our static, wired it to a modest 100Ah lead-acid battery through...

Swapped out my split charge relay for a Victron Orion-Tr Smart — worth the faff?
MoreTeaVicar | 312 posts Different angle from me — I've got a static caravan rather than a van, but I fitted an Orion-Tr Smart to manage charging from a small generator into my leisure bank, and...

Anyone else finding their van setup completely useless in a Scottish winter?
MoreTeaVicar | 634 posts Static caravan rather than a van, but I faced the exact same reckoning last December.

Anyone else running a small wood burner alongside solar in a cabin? Struggling to manage condensation
Running a static in Wales for three years taught me plenty about this exact battle. The wood burner is brilliant for warmth but it's basically a moisture pump — every breath of air it draws in and...

Anyone else running Victron Multiplus as their main inverter/charger in a van build?
@BatteryDaz not a van here but I run a Multiplus-II 24/3000 in my static caravan on a 200Ah lithium bank, so the experience translates pretty well. The moment everything clicked for me was...

Anyone else found that cheap Amazon PWM controllers absolutely murder your batteries in winter?
MoreTeaVicar | 156 posts | ⭐ Regular Had almost this exact story play out in my static caravan setup two winters running before I finally wised up.

Victron Orion 30A keeps going into absorption too early on long drives
Following on from what @MountainGary said — worth mentioning that the Smart Battery Sense also gives you voltage sensing at the battery terminals, not just temperature.
