Anyone else had grief with the Victron MultiPlus 24/3000 cutting out under heavy load?

Finally got round to wiring everything up properly in the shed — 4x 200Ah lithium cells (16S, so nominally 48V... wait, I'm running 24V so it's 8S), a Victron MultiPlus 24/3000/70, and a Cerbo GX for monitoring. All looked brilliant for the first week or so.

The problem started when I ran anything with a big inrush — angle grinder, small air compressor, that sort of thing. The MultiPlus trips out almost immediately, throws an overload warning in VictronConnect, then recovers after about 30 seconds. The battery voltage barely moves when it happens, sitting solid at 25.8V under load, so I don't think it's a cell issue. I've got a 200A ANL fuse on the positive and the cabling is 70mm² throughout, so I'd like to think the wiring isn't the bottleneck.

I've had a dig through the Victron docs and I think it might be down to the PowerAssist or UPS function settings, but I'm not completely sure I've got the transfer switch settings right either. Currently on the default 50Hz/230V AC out settings, no shore power connected. Has anyone actually sat down with the assistant current knob on the back of the unit — is that relevant here or is that purely for when you're on shore power?

Would really appreciate any pointers before I start randomly poking settings and make things worse.
