Anyone else had grief with Victron Multiplus fan running constantly even at low load?

Picked up a secondhand Multiplus 12/3000/120 a few months back and it's been brilliant overall, but the fan never seems to shut off — even when I'm barely pulling 200W through it. Previous owner said it was fine when he had it, but I've no way to verify that obviously.

I've had a poke around in VE.Configure and the fan control mode is set to "Automatic" which should mean it only kicks in when things get warm. Ambient temp in the van is nowhere near warm enough to justify it running 24/7 — we're talking a draughty Sprinter in Wales, so if anything it's bloody freezing. Firmware is on v481, not sure if that's relevant.

Before I start pulling it apart or sending it off, has anyone dealt with this? I've read something vague about a temperature sensor fault causing it to default to full-on fan as a safety measure, but I can't find anything concrete. Could also be a VE.Bus config issue I suppose.

Anyone got a Multiplus of a similar age (this one's a 2018 unit) where the fan behaviour changed after a firmware update, or had a duff sensor? Keen to know if there's a fix before I fork out for a service.
