Anyone else running a Victron Multiplus on aged LiFePO4 cells getting weird charge cutoffs?

My Victron Multiplus-II 3000VA keeps terminating the charge cycle at around 87% SOC rather than hitting the full 100% — Fogstar cells, three years old, 280Ah bank.

Tried tweaking the absorption voltage up to 28.4V on 24V system but the BMS (Daly 200A) is still tripping it early, seemingly reading a cell imbalance that the Victron never gets the chance to correct.

Wondering if the culprit is the tail current setting — currently at 1A, which feels stingy for a bank this size — or whether my old Daly is just losing the plot and needs replacing with something that can actually talk to the Victron properly.

Has anyone successfully paired a Victron Multiplus-II with a proper communicating BMS like the Seplos or JK to sort this sort of nonsense out, and did it actually fix the balance drift problem?
