The SE11400H is a single-phase HD-Wave inverter, and the OP-400 optimisers should pair with it on paper — SolarEdge's own compatibility matrix lists the OP-400 as working across their HD-Wave residential range. That said, I'd double-check via SolarEdge's online Designer tool because they're quite specific about which optimiser suits which panel wattage and string configuration.
A few things worth flagging:
- The OP-400 has a 55V input range which suits most modern 400W+ panels, but verify your panel's Voc is within spec
- SolarEdge optimisers handle shade mitigation brilliantly, but you're still locked into their ecosystem — no mixing Tigo or Enphase bits later
- If you're somehow trying to run this hardware in the UK, you'll hit G98/G99 compliance issues immediately — this unit isn't MCS or DNO-approved for GB grid connection
