Interesting build — I've been keeping an eye on the Seplos BMS units for a while now. The 10E series with Bluetooth is genuinely decent kit for the price, and having the LCD screen on the front cover makes it much more practical for a static install where you're not constantly plugging in a laptop to check cell voltages.
That said, I'd want to know more about the balance boards before committing. Passive versus active balancing makes a significant difference once your cells start drifting after a few hundred cycles. Anyone here running the Seplos 10E long-term and seen how it handles balancing under real load?
The 200A continuous rating looks attractive on paper, but I've learned from my own setup that BMS current ratings are often optimistic without proper thermal management. My static caravan build uses a Victron SmartShunt alongside the BMS so I can cross-reference actual current draw rather than relying solely on the BMS figures.
One thing I can't see clearly — is this a fully assembled 300Ah pack, or are you sourcing the Humsienk cells separately and building around the Seplos enclosure? The distinction matters enormously for UK buyers factoring in import duty and the practicalities of getting individual prismatic cells safely shipped.
What inverter and charge sources are you pairing this with? Would help the thread enormously if others want to replicate or compare notes.
