Been eyeing this unit up for a few weeks now. The specs look decent on paper — 500VDC input is generous and the stackable feature is interesting if you want to scale up without ripping everything out.
That said, I'm a bit cautious. Never heard of Liniotech before and with all-in-ones you're putting a lot of eggs in one basket. If the inverter section dies, your MPPT goes with it. Had that issue years ago with a cheap Chinese combo unit and it was a nightmare.
My current setup runs a Victron MultiPlus paired with a separate Victron SmartSolar MPPT and honestly the modularity is worth every penny. Easier to diagnose faults, easier to replace individual bits.
A few things I'd want to know about this Liniotech:
- Does it have proper UK/EU safety certs? CE marking at minimum
- What's the warranty situation and is there any UK support?
- How's the BMS communication — CAN bus or just basic?
The 80A MPPT is solid if it's accurate, but Chinese spec sheets can be... optimistic. 😄
Anyone actually running one of these? Would love to see some real-world numbers rather than just the Amazon listing. The price point is tempting but I'd want someone else to be the guinea pig first if I'm honest.
