Noticed something a bit odd on the Victron Remote Monitoring app over the past week or so — the dashboard cards on iOS seem to have a lot more vertical padding than they used to. Scrolling through my system overview now takes noticeably longer to get to the bottom, which is a bit annoying when you're just doing a quick check on battery state whilst out in the garden.

Running it on an iPhone 14 if that's relevant. The cards themselves don't seem to display any additional information — it's just... more space between everything? Feels like a CSS spacing change snuck through in a recent update rather than anything functional.

Not a dealbreaker for the garden office setup where I can just pull up the full browser view on a laptop, but for the van conversion side of things it's actually more of a nuisance. When I'm parked up and just want a rapid glance at my Fogstar cells and what the MPPT is doing, all that extra scrolling is a minor faff.

Has anyone else clocked this, particularly on smaller iPhone screen sizes? A few questions worth crowdsourcing:

  • Is this affecting Android users too, or purely iOS?
  • Did it coincide with a specific app version update, or possibly a VRM portal change on the backend?
  • Any workaround, like pinning specific widgets or using a condensed view I might have missed?

Worth raising with Victron support directly if it's widespread, but wanted to check whether it's just me first. Would be good to know if anyone's found a quick fix or at least confirmed the same behaviour on their end.

Seeing the same on my end — shepherd's hut setup with a Victron MPPT and BMV-712, running iOS 17.4. The cards feel noticeably more spread out than before, which means I'm having to scroll further to see battery state and solar input on the same screen.

Is this a deliberate accessibility change or just a bug crept in with a recent build? Has anyone checked whether it affects the widget view as well, or just the main dashboard cards?

Worth raising directly with Victron support — does anyone know if they have an active iOS bug tracker or is it all funnelled through the community forum on their own site?
