Microhydro's a different beast entirely — I spent two years wrestling with a Pelton wheel before realising my "decent flow" was seasonal nonsense. The batteries tell the real story though. Winter generation meant I could actually size them properly instead of chasing solar peaks. Worth it if your stream doesn't dry up come August.
