About the 12V/230Ah AGM Super Cycle Batt. (M8)
The Victron 12V/230Ah AGM Super Cycle Battery is engineered for applications requiring frequent deep discharging. While standard deep cycle batteries may last 200-300 cycles at 80% depth of discharge, the Super Cycle range is designed to withstand significantly more deep discharge cycles thanks to its unique electrolyte composition and enhanced plate technology. The battery features very low internal resistance for high-current discharge capability and uses carbon-enhanced negative plates. Lead calcium grids and high-purity materials ensure a self-discharge rate below 2% per month at 20°C. Supplied in a CE and UL compliant ABS fireproof container with M8 bolt terminals. Ideal for marine, RV, solar, and other demanding cycling applications.

- Lithium Smart (LiFePO4) batteries offer 5x more usable cycles than lead-acid at half the weight — ideal for weight-conscious motorhome and marine builds.
