About the Argodiode 180-3AC 3 batteries 180A
The Victron Argodiode 180-3AC allows simultaneous charging of three batteries from a single alternator without interconnecting them. Ideal for vessels or vehicles with starter, house, and bow-thruster batteries. Schottky diodes provide a low voltage drop of approximately 0.3V at low current and 0.45V at rated output. A compensation diode can slightly increase alternator output to offset the diode drop. The alternator energize input (AC version) provides a current-limited feed to the B+ terminal, ensuring the alternator starts charging even with the isolator in circuit. Rated for both 12V and 24V systems with M8 stud connections.
