About the Battery balancer

The Victron Battery Balancer equalises the state of charge of two series-connected 12V batteries (or multiple units for 48V systems). When the charge voltage of a 24V battery system exceeds 27V, the balancer will equalise the voltage by drawing up to 0.7A from the battery with the higher voltage. Multiple balancers can be combined for 48V systems. Essential for maintaining battery health in series-connected lead-acid and lithium battery banks.
