The Victron Energy Orion-Tr Isolated DC-DC Charger Remote Cable (ASS070300100) enables remote on/off control of Orion-Tr Isolated DC-DC chargers when the remote signal needs to be referenced to the secondary (output) battery rather than the primary (input) battery. In standard configuration, the Orion-Tr Isolated DC-DC Charger remote on/off circuit is referenced to the primary battery (e.g. starter battery). However, in installations where the secondary battery has a BMS (such as lithium batteries), the BMS charge-disconnect signal is referenced to the secondary battery. This remote cable solves that issue by providing the correct reference for the remote on/off function.
