About the Orion XS 1400 DC-DC battery charger
The Orion XS 1400 DC-DC battery charger is a compact smart DC-DC battery charger designed for charging a service battery from a vehicle alternator. It features adaptive multi-stage charging algorithms, Bluetooth connectivity for monitoring via VictronConnect, and a robust design suitable for automotive and marine environments. Compatible with smart alternators and Euro 5/6 vehicles.
Application Guide
- Essential for Euro 6 and later vehicles where the smart alternator prevents traditional split-charge relays from fully charging your leisure battery.
- The Orion-Tr Smart uses Bluetooth and adaptive charging profiles to safely charge lithium or lead-acid batteries from your vehicle alternator.
- Choose isolated models when connecting batteries of different voltages (e.g., 24V truck to 12V leisure battery).
