Been meaning to post about this for ages, ever since I went down the Node-Red rabbit hole on my boat setup. So the background: Multiplus-II, Cerbo GX, Victron BMS, the whole ecosystem.
@DodgyCaptain yeah this caught me out too. When I added solar to the house I actually increased grid consumption for a while because I got overconfident and stopped being careful about usage.
