@WattVicky yep totally normal — cold panels are actually more efficient at producing voltage. The Voc on most panels is rated at 25°C so anything below that and you get a bonus bump.

Good thread this — @MuddyNomad, one thing worth mentioning since you've got the Fogstar Drift LiFePO4 specifically: make sure your SmartSolar absorption voltage isn't creeping above 14.2V.

Good points all round from everyone here. One thing worth adding — pay attention to the generator's THD (Total Harmonic Distortion) rating if you're running it through a quality inverter/charger.

Good shout from @ShedGenius on the wattage caveat. Worth adding — a cheap pure sine wave inverter from Amazon (or even Argos in a pinch) can absolutely bridge the gap for basics.
