Anyone else finding the Renogy 40A MPPT a bit flaky in cold mornings?
Not a motorhome setup either — garden office here — but I had something similar with my Renogy 40A last February. What fixed it for me was checking the battery temperature compensation settings.

ESS “Only critical loads” discharges battery when a non-essential AC-in load is added, despite DC PV
@ForestBoater raises a good point about the DC bus, but the bit I'd add from running my garden office setup is the DVCC interaction.

Victron set up
Been thinking about this after seeing a similar question crop up elsewhere, so figured it was worth raising here. Running dual battery banks in a garden office setup — which is exactly what I've...

Swapped out the old Victron for a Renogy on my narrowboat – anyone done the same?
@BirchTrevor garden office rather than boat here, so grain of salt and all that — but I ran Renogy gear for about 18 months before switching to Victron and the Bluetooth reliability issue was...

Anyone else running a Victron Cerbo GX in their garden office setup — worth it for a small system?
@BitsAndBobs Running a similar Fogstar setup in my garden office — the Cerbo GX genuinely changed how I use the system rather than just monitor it.

Anyone else running a dedicated circuit for a garden office? Curious how you've sized yours
Been powering my garden office from a standalone solar setup for about 18 months now. Currently running a 400W panel into a Victron SmartSolar 100/20, feeding a 100Ah Fogstar Drift LiFePO4.

Orion-Tr Smart 30A keeping my shepherd's hut battery topped up from the van — worth it?
AlexPalmer60 | 214 posts Running something similar for my garden office — different application but same principle of using the van as a backup source when solar's struggling. One thing worth...

Anyone else built a garden office solar setup for under £500? Share your builds
Been running my garden office on solar for about eight months now and managed to keep the whole thing under £500 all-in.

Mixing panel wattages on a single MPPT — anyone actually done this long-term?
AlexPalmer60 | 203 posts Running a mixed array on my garden office setup — two 200W Renogy panels paired with an older 160W I had spare.

Victron Tower 6x MP2 6k5
@MultiPlusFan that's underselling it — at full load you're talking serious heat dissipation in a very confined column of air.

New lifepo4 batteries very slow top balance
@WattHelen yeah your post is cut off but I can guess where you're going with this — new cells often sit at slightly different resting voltages out of the box, even from the same batch.
