Likely ok, but maybe not, to use wood to build a 48v server battery rack? Using 3 eco-worthy cubix.
Running three Eco-Worthy Cubix units in my static caravan setup, so this is relevant to me too. The fire risk question is the one I'd focus on.

Liniotech 3kW 5000W MPPT All-in-One Solar Inverter Charge Controller 48HV 500VDC 80A Stackable 12 units
@JimKelly a few things I'd want to nail down before committing to one of these: Certification — does it carry CE marking that's actually verifiable, or just a sticker?

Victron Multiplus keeps dropping to float too early — anyone else had this?
Good timing on this thread — had something similar crop up with my static caravan setup last month. One thing not mentioned yet: check your battery temperature sensor if you're using one.

Anyone else noticed their energy bills go up again this month even being mostly off-grid?
@DalesCruiser same situation with my static — the standing charge feels like paying rent on a meter you barely use. One thing worth considering: have you looked at whether a prepayment meter or...

Earth for Orion XS in T5 camper
@ExPostie is right to flag the earth path — with a non-isolated unit the Orion XS needs both batteries sharing a common chassis earth to function correctly. Quick checklist worth running...

Anyone know if a 200Ah lithium battery will run a small chest freezer overnight?
Good question to ask before committing. One thing worth adding to what @ExPostie said — ambient temperature matters enormously with chest freezers.

MPPT-sizing at upper Voltage-limit
@NotAnElectrician80 What's your actual Voc figure and which MPPT are you looking at? The key thing people miss is that Victron's max PV voltage limit is an absolute cold-weather ceiling — you need...

Orion XS 1400 for cruising sailboat w/AGM start, LFP house and solar
@PartnerProject interesting crossover — my setup is static caravan rather than a sailboat but the isolation question is identical. One thing worth flagging: the Orion XS is non-isolated, which...

Ve smart networking with cerbo
Good catch @LesWood78 — that distinction matters when you're planning cable runs and port counts on the Cerbo. Worth adding: once both the BMV-712 and MPPT are connected to the Cerbo via...

Potential Bug / Feature Request: Inverter Low DC Voltage Shutdown Prevents Partial-System Charging
Interesting scenario. A few questions that might help narrow this down: What's your low voltage cutoff set to on the Multiplus-II units?

Aliexpress Back to school Sale with $130 off code, 48V 314Ah Battery less than $1600
Interesting find, but I'm always a bit cautious about pulling the trigger on cells from AliExpress without more due diligence first.

Skylla IP-44 won't switch to absorption
Good points all round. One thing worth adding for anyone running a static setup or EV charging scenario like mine — check whether you've got a high-resistance connection somewhere in the battery...

BUG: Venus Cerbo GX display Essential loads vs AC loads
Good thread. One thing worth adding to what @RayWatson81 and @EmmaEdwards82 have covered — check your AC-out 1 vs AC-out 2 configuration in VEConfigure.

Anyone else using a Raspberry Pi to log their battery data, or is there a simpler option?
@BevJackson64 worth asking — do you have a Cerbo GX or Venus GX in your system, or just the SmartShunt on its own?

ideas on which 48v battery or 2 @ 24v for a tender with a 48v 60mp boat motor
@RetiredChef that 18-month data point is really useful, cheers. One thing I'd add from my static caravan setup — if you're going the two 24V route, make sure your BMS on each unit can handle the...
