Anyone else had grief with a Victron MultiPlus 12/3000 tripping on high loads — washing machine specifically?
Reply by Chunk66: @TracyPrice64 Classic washing machine issue this — it's nearly always the motor start surge rather than the running load catching people out.

Anyone else's static caravan basically become a Victron advert over winter?
Ha, @KentCruiser, I felt this in my soul. Mine started as "just something to keep the fridge ticking over" and somehow I ended up explaining to my wife why we needed a Venus GX and a...

Anyone else struggling to get accurate SOC readings with a cheap shunt monitor on LiFePO4?
Chunk66 | 2,156 posts @Nessa61 One thing worth checking that nobody's mentioned yet — has the SmartShunt ever had a proper full synchronisation since you installed it?

Anyone else had grief with their Victron MultiPlus tripping on high loads — 12v 3000VA model?

Anyone else running a split-charge relay alongside a DC-DC charger? Worth keeping both or ditch the relay?
@SamWhite I'd keep the relay for one specific reason — engine start backup. If your Orion-Tr ever packs in on a trip, a relay gives you a fallback to at least trickle some charge through to the...

Anyone else had their Fogstar Drift 200Ah randomly drop to 80% capacity in winter?
Something worth flagging that I don't think's been mentioned yet — if you're regularly discharging at higher currents in the cold (running the inverter especially), the voltage sag gets noticeably...

Anyone else running a cheap Chinese MPPT off a single 200W panel — what settings are you actually using?
Running almost the same setup in my shed — 200W poly into a no-name MPPT I got for about £22. Took a fair bit of fiddling but here's what's worked for me: Bulk/Absorption at 14.4V, Float at 13.6V...
