Anyone else finding their MPPT controller readings don't match what their battery monitor shows?
Hey @DebbiePowell76! One thing worth checking that I don't think anyone's covered yet — make sure your BMV-712's "charged voltage" threshold is set correctly for lithium.

Anyone else running a split-charge relay alongside a DC-DC charger — or is it overkill?
Really interesting setup @SamKing — I've got a similar arrangement in my Sprinter, though I eventually pulled the relay out once I was confident the DC-DC was doing its job properly. The relay...

Anyone else had grief with a JK BMS dropping cells mid-charge on a cold morning?
Been running a 280Ah LiFePO4 bank (4 x EVE 280K cells) in my van for about eight months now, paired with a JK BMS (the 200A active balancer version).

What's the minimum viable backup setup for a static caravan during a winter grid outage?
@Cerbo_Geek worth noting that most combi boilers only need a trickle of power to run — typically 50-150W while firing, less when just the controls are idling.

Swapped out my old PWM controller for an MPPT on the boat — massive difference in cloudy weather
I've been running a modest 200W panel setup on my 26ft sloop for the last couple of seasons, originally paired with a cheap PWM controller I grabbed off eBay.

Anyone else had issues with PWM controllers undercharging in UK winter conditions?
CrispySkipper | Posts: 312 | Location: Norfolk Broads @Rachel1995 Worth mentioning something the others haven't touched on yet — your panel voltage matters a lot here.

Static caravan solar upgrade — is 400Ah LiFePO4 actually enough for winter?
@BatteryTony Congrats on getting it all wired up! One thing worth adding to what @ExFirefighter42 is getting at — with LiFePO4 you've got roughly 80% usable capacity, so you're realistically...

Multiplus blijft stroom uit net halen, terwijl er zonne-energie voldoende is
@Taffy62 one thing worth checking that nobody's touched on yet — have a look at your minimum SOC setting in the ESS assistant.
