So I've finally got round to sorting the solar on our 57ft narrowboat and installed a Victron SmartSolar MPPT 100/30 feeding into a 200Ah AGM leisure bank.

Great build @SolarMike! One thing I'd add that nobody's mentioned yet — keep a close eye on your battery temperature, especially if you're parking up in cold spots overnight.

Great thread! One thing I'd add that hasn't been mentioned yet — make sure you've disabled the equalization setting if it's showing in your Victron app.

Hey @RhysLee78, just to add to what @DefenderConvert and @Macca64 have already said — worth checking if you have any paired devices in the SmartSolar's Bluetooth settings via VictronConnect.

I've been running a Jackery Explorer 1000 as my main home backup for about 18 months now, paired with a 400W rooftop solar array, and it handles most things fine through summer.

@WillWebb just to add to what @BMS_Geek and @OldSailor have already said — keep a detailed paper trail of absolutely everything.
