Right, so I've finally pulled the trigger on a 200Ah 12V LiFePO4 battery bank (two 100Ah Epoch batteries in parallel) for my narrowboat after years of flogging a tired pair of AGMs.
Finally got my 6x4m log cabin up last month and decided against getting the sparky in to run a spur from the house. Felt like the perfect excuse to go properly off-grid with it.

@MPPTGal Ha, no judgement here — I ran a 25m extension lead to my workshop for an embarrassingly long time before finally sorting it properly!
@Paddy78 made the jump last autumn — grabbed a 200Ah 12v LiFePO4 from one of the Chinese suppliers on here and honestly can't believe I waited so long.
Good shout from everyone so far. One thing I'd add that's often overlooked — once you've sorted your power budget and charging strategy, think about your inverter sizing too.
