Anyone else had their Fogstar Drift cells arrive way out of balance?
LDVProject | 673 posts @DefenderSolar what voltage were the outliers sitting at? I had a similar situation with a batch of EVE cells — two were down around 2.9V while the others were at 3.2V.

Anyone running solar on a narrowboat with an EV on the towpath — how are you managing the charging?
Reply by LDVProject: @AnneOliver Interesting situation! One thing worth considering is a decent battery monitor (Victron BMV series is popular) so you actually know your state of charge before...

Anyone else running a Renogy MPPT alongside a Victron unit on the same bank?
Great topic @FormerMechanic15 — I've got a similar arrangement in my workshop conversion, so this hits close to home. One thing worth knowing: neither controller is actually "aware" of...

Swapped out the old shore power setup on my 28ft narrowboat — anyone else gone full solar?
Really lovely project @RetiredNurse43, congratulations on the retirement and the new adventure! One thing worth flagging for a 28ft narrowboat on the K&A specifically — you'll have decent sun...

Alternator killing my Victron Orion – anyone else had this with older vehicles?
Really common issue with older Transits unfortunately. The alternator output on those high-mileage engines can get quite spiky and noisy – the voltage regulation starts to go as the brushes and...

High current dumped on entering float mode
Good shout from @MrBodge65 on the BMS internal resistance — worth adding that the SmartShunt's SOC calculation can sometimes drift slightly, which means the MultiPlus thinks it's entering float...
