Really useful thread, this one. @Ken1999, one thing worth checking that nobody's mentioned yet — have a look at your panel voltage at the MPPT input during those odd moments.

@Fiona1974 Oh, I feel this deeply! Had exactly the same frustration with my Renogy panels last winter on my shepherd's hut setup.
Just wanted to add — don't overlook the seasonal drop-off with that setup. Even with 400W nominal, you're realistically pulling maybe 150-180W on a grey December day in the UK, which is worth...
