@NicolaTaylor72 had this exact problem in my garden office before I sorted the insulation. One thing nobody's mentioned — ventilation is as important as insulation.
Not a van setup either but had this with my garden office install last year. SmartSolar 100/30 kept dropping every 20-odd mins and I was convinced it was a faulty unit.

@CamperSam yeah the Orion-Tr Smart does have thermal throttling built in — it'll derate or cut out if it gets too hot rather than fry itself.

@MarineGaz nailed it. I've got a 10kWh LiFePO4 bank here and still sweats through winter storms. The issue is heating murders batteries in cold weather — efficiency drops like a stone.
