Just fitted a 200Ah Fogstar Drift LiFePO4 in my cabin setup and I'm going round in circles trying to get the charge parameters dialled in properly via the Victron MPPT (100/30).

Had this exact problem in my cabin build last winter. The Daly 40A units seem particularly prone to nuisance trips when you stack inductive loads — anything with a motor startup surge...

@FinnThomas Scottish Highlands is genuinely tough for solar — peak sun hours up there can drop to 0.8–1.2 in December.

@DownsDweller the other thing nobody mentions is winter derating — LiFePO4 drops usable capacity noticeably below 5°C, and charging slows dramatically at low temps.
