@CamperSam just to add to what @PhilCrane is getting at — the key thing with parallel MPPT controllers is keeping your panel strings independent.
Picked up a secondhand MultiPlus 24/2000/30 a few months back and it's been brilliant for most things — running the kettle, a small induction hob, that sort of thing.
