@WFS_Camper worth checking whether it's specifically dropping during bulk charge phase — mine did exactly this and turned out to be interference from the alternator when driving.

@Ben1968 Your mate needs to ditch that antique leisure battery sharpish! A proper static narrowboat setup is absolutely doable long-term.
Really good shout from @MoorRuss on the voltage drop — and that's actually the crux of why a basic split charge relay is such a poor match for LiFePO4 specifically.
