So I've been running a pretty standard leisure setup in my Transit for about two years — 100Ah AGM, split charge relay off the alternator, a basic PWM solar controller.

@AlanJones63 One thing nobody's mentioned yet — check whether your alternator has an internal regulator that's being fooled by the lithium's flat charge curve.

Good thread this. I've got a similar setup on my static caravan — four cheap 100W panels (two pairs in series, then parallel) into a SmartSolar 100/30.
I picked up a pair of 100W monocrystalline panels off Amazon for about £55 each a few months back — no-name brand, but the specs looked reasonable on paper.
Great thread @CraftyRanger — been on a 58ft cruiser stern for about three years now and made the lithium switch roughly 18 months ago, so I recognise everything you're describing.
