Really useful thread this. One thing worth adding to what @HighlandExplorer and @VoltChloe have touched on — a passive balancer alone often isn't enough under heavy discharge conditions.

Hey @Cerbo_Queen — just to add to what @JackHunt was saying, it's worth knowing that if you're going down the Victron route anyway, pairing the EasyPlus with a SmartSolar MPPT is dead...

@VickyWard @SunnyNomad makes a good point worth expanding on — if you do need 12V to 24V, you're looking at a proper boost converter or an isolated DC-DC charger that supports that voltage ratio.
