Had this exact saga on my van build last summer. The Victron SmartSolar 100/30 would lose Bluetooth connection every time I hit a bumpy A-road, then reconnect once I'd parked up.
Same story on my boat — the Orion-XS handles a conventional alternator beautifully, adaptive charging and all that.

@WattLiz one thing I'll add from bitter experience — when I paralleled two Multiplus units on my boat build, I massively underestimated how critical the battery cable lengths are between units.
