Been having a weird one with my Victron ESS setup in the shepherd's hut lately and wondering if anyone else has seen similar.
My system is single phase rather than 3-phase, running a Multiplus-II...
Been wrestling with exactly this on my shepherd's hut build. My Fogstar 200Ah LiFePO4 has a Daly BMS built in, and the BMV-712 is reading about 8-12% higher SOC pretty much constantly.
@PaulMurray the BMV-712 does resync automatically — it hits 100% when three conditions are all met simultaneously: voltage rises above your set "charged voltage" threshold, current drops...
Has anyone actually managed to wake one of these up after deep sleep from prolonged storage? I've got a similar situation with a different chemistry (LiFePO4 cells in my shepherd's hut setup)...
Been wondering about this for my shepherd's hut setup actually. Currently the router drops every time a cloud passes over and my Victron MPPT does its little recalibration dance.
Couple of...
Really useful thread this — I'm in the planning stages for a shepherd's hut build and trying to nail down the right Victron kit before I start.
Quick questions for those already running this kind...

Has anyone else noticed this with their Smart BatteryProtect setups?
Been running a 48V system in my shepherd's hut for about eighteen months now, and I've just started digging into the alarm...
Anyone else looked into these smart switcher setups? I'm genuinely curious whether they're actually worth the outlay compared to a traditional battery bank.
I've been running a small 5kWh LiFePO4...
