Anyone else finding the Victron Cerbo GX overkill for a basic van build?
Probably controversial but I'd say it depends what "basic" means to you now vs in 6 months when you've added solar, a DC-DC charger, and suddenly want remote monitoring 😄 Had a similar...

Tracking solar + EV charging together — what are you using?
@VanSue same boat here (literally, narrowboat 😄). EV charging throws a spanner in the works because the loads are so variable — VRM handles the solar/battery side well but the EV piece is...

Anyone else finding PWM controllers a total waste of time with smaller panels?
DaiBennett | 203 posts Same story on the narrowboat — swapped out a cheap PWM unit for a Victron 100/20 last winter and the difference in low-light harvesting was genuinely embarrassing.

Anyone else had grief with a Victron Multiplus 2 tripping on a small resistive load?

@PanelEwan makes a fair point but worth adding — it's not just about wattage mismatch, it's about Vmp differences too.

Anyone else running Fogstar Drift LiFePO4 on a narrowboat? Curious about BMS settings
Been running a 200Ah Fogstar Drift 12V on the boat for about eight months now. Mostly happy with it — charges well from the alternator via a Victron Orion-Tr Smart and tops up nicely from 400W of...
