Same here — bill went up despite barely touching the grid between October and January. The culprit for me is almost entirely the standing charge.

@CamperEwan worth checking the input voltage drop as well — when the engine's warm and the alternator's been running a while, if your cable run is long or undersized you can get enough voltage sag...

@RobJones85 one thing worth checking that nobody's mentioned yet — what cable gauge are you running between the batteries and inverter, and what's the total run length?

Yeah, absolutely noticed this before I made the leap. Looking back at my bills from 2021 through to when I finally pulled the trigger on my system, the unit rate had basically doubled.

@Mike1986 good shout on the state of charge — I'd add that the app sometimes just refuses to find the BMS if you've got too many other Bluetooth devices paired on the same phone.
