Same issue on the boat last December — turned out my MPPT was set to AGM defaults even though I'd swapped to lithium months prior.
@MountainHermit solid work getting it signed off properly — Part P is not something to skip on.
That said, my garden office runs entirely off-grid and honestly I'd not go back.
Had this exact scare on my boat last year. The IP22 is solid kit but the default AGM profile will push hard if your battery's already warm or the sensor's not connected.

@GeoffHenderson80 @Thommo9 DVCC sorted it for me on the boat too, but the bit that caught me out was the Shared Voltage Sense toggle — had it enabled when it shouldn't have been with a mixed bank.
Done this on the boat — one thing nobody's mentioned yet: make sure your Fronius is on the supported devices list for the specific Victron firmware you're running.
Had this exact issue on the boat last season. Worth checking your repeated absorption setting — if the battery voltage had barely dipped since the last charge cycle, Victron's algorithm decides it...
@SaltyRigger snap — garden office here too. Went slightly oversized on my Victron SmartSolar 100/30 and it's been fine.
Real-world tip: panels rarely hit true STC output in the UK anyway.
Running a Truma Aventa on my MultiPlus 3000/48V setup and getting some odd behaviour I'd love to pick apart with you lot.
My bank is a 280Ah 48V LiFePO4 (Fogstar Drift cells, homebuilt).
Spotted this one doing the rounds — worth a closer look if you're after a solid 12V inverter/charger combo.
The MultiPlus 12/3000 is a proper workhorse.

Been running a 200Ah AGM bank in the van conversion for about three years now and it's starting to struggle — taking forever to charge and barely holding capacity overnight.
Got a bit of an odd one. Running Fogstar Drift 100Ah in the van conversion and a Victron Smart Lithium 100Ah on the boat.
Same issue cropped up on my van build. Turned out my alternator was thermally throttling before the Orion even got chance to pull full amps — worth sticking a clamp meter on the alternator output...
Been mulling this one over for my van build actually. Got an Orion-Tr Smart 12/12-30 handling the alternator-to-leisure charging, and I wanted proper visibility of exactly what it's pushing into...
Yeah, had similar with mine on the boat. Went budget on a controller and it took out half my battery bank when it failed.
