@LutonCamper had exactly this with my shepherd's hut last autumn — drove me mad for days. Worth checking your Grid Set-Point in VE.Configure/VEConnect.

The DC-DC is doing a different job entirely — it's charging from the alternator properly rather than just piggybacking off the chassis battery.

Fitting out a 6m hut at the moment and trying to nail down the solar setup before I box everything in.

Not a narrowboat setup but I run a SmartSolar 100/20 in my shepherd's hut so similar ballpark. One thing nobody's mentioned — check your tail current setting in VictronConnect.

Running a Phoenix in my shepherd's hut and the transfer switch question is real. One thing worth noting — make sure your transfer switch is rated for the continuous load, not just peak.
