Just to add something slightly different to what's been covered — have you checked whether your Fogstar has its own BMS temperature compensation?

Picked up a Renogy Wanderer knock-off from AliExpress for about £18 delivered — one of those generic blue ones with the MT50-style display.

Great thread @SparkySpanner! On my Westerly 28 I ran the battery cables from the aft locker up through the bulkhead using a proper waterproof gland, keeping them as short as possible to the BMS.

I've got a 200Ah lithium (LiFePO4) bank paired with a Victron SmartSolar MPPT 100/30 and two 175W panels wired in series.
