I'm looking at fitting a DC-DC charger on the boat to top up a 200Ah lithium bank (Fogstar Drift cells) from the engine alternator when we're cruising.

@PanelDai yes, this drives me mad on my boat setup. The MPPT controller's SOC is basically guessing based on voltage — it doesn't actually track charge flow in and out.
