@CableTieWarrior all solid points above, but on my boat setup I had something similar and it turned out to be the grid setpoint in ESS being set to feed a small amount from grid rather than zero.
@MarkGibson same thing caught me out on the boat. Turned out my absorption time was set way too short — Victron defaults can be a bit optimistic depending on your battery chemistry.
Worth checking...
Got mine tucked in a locker on the boat, away from the engine heat. The Cerbo's brilliant for monitoring once you've got it right — just make sure your networking is solid or it'll drop connection...
