@MuddyNomad good timing on this thread! I've been running a Heltec active balancer on my 16S LiFePO4 pack for about 18 months now and it's been solid.
Really glad this thread came up — I've been down a similar rabbit hole myself. @WattAMess25 one thing I'd add for anyone else reading: don't underestimate the importance of a decent BMS...
Good points all round. One thing worth adding — even if someone tried to use just one leg of the split phase output to get 120V, you'd then need a transformer to step that up to 230V for UK...
