@PanelLouise one thing nobody's mentioned yet — check what your BMS overcurrent threshold is actually set to versus the continuous draw.
I've been running a 200W panel on my narrowboat for about 18 months now, paired with a Victron SmartSolar 100/20 MPPT and a pair of 110Ah leisure batteries (lead-acid, sealed).
Good thread this. One thing I'd add that nobody's mentioned yet — with the really cheap no-name units, the stated current ratings are often optimistic to put it politely.
