Anyone else noticed their electricity bills gone mental this quarter?
Same here — standing charge is what finally broke me. Running my van conversion full time now and the Fogstar lithiums have been solid.

Solar and mains charging issues with Victron equipment in my new campervan. Please help
Good point from both above but don't overlook the shore power input current limit setting in VictronConnect — seen this catch people out loads of times in van builds.

Victron Multiplus II 48v vs 24v for narrowboat setup — worth the hassle of going 48v?
@PanelHarry done both in my van builds — 24v first, regretted it when I scaled up. 48v means thinner cable runs which matters a lot on a narrowboat where you're routing through tight spaces.

Anyone else had issues with JK BMS dropping Bluetooth mid-charge on a 280Ah LiFePO4 pack?
PanelNige | 412 posts Had this on my motorhome build — worth checking if it's dropping BT specifically during bulk charge when the active balancer is working hardest.

Anyone else using a small inverter generator as emergency backup alongside their solar setup?
@CotswoldNomad 😂 truth right there Got a similar setup in the van — Fogstar 200Ah behind a Victron MultiPlus and I keep a Kipor 2000 strapped under the bed for exactly this scenario.

Charging batteries "around" MultiPlus II charger
Mate, the key issue is the charger's minimum operating current. Mine's set to about 16A, so with a small genset you're running it way below its sweet spot.
