Warning! reverse polarity condition on AC Output - junbpaw 2080W RV Pure Sine Wave Inverter with ATS, Dual Voltage Power Inverter 24/48V
Good shout from @DodgyRoamer and @VivaroWanderer on the terminology — swapped L/N is the more accurate description and it does matter practically. Had something similar crop up with a cheaper unit...

Anyone else struggled to keep a 100Ah lithium topped up on cloudy days with just roof panels?
Spent three winters up in the Dales learning this lesson the hard way, so yes — absolutely. My motorhome runs a 100Ah Fogstar Drift and I've got 200W of Renogy panels bolted to the roof.

EV Charger on AC-Out and ESS
Been mulling this one over for a while and thought I'd throw it out here. Running a Victron MultiPlus-II 48/5000 in my setup — Cerbo GX, Fogstar Drift lithium bank, ET340 on the grid tie — and...

Nullast phoenix inverter smart 24/1600 te hoog
Been scratching my head over something similar with my Victron Phoenix 24/1600 and thought it worth raising here. According to the spec sheet, idle/no-load draw should sit around 9W.

SOK 12v/314 uneven discharging Multipluss II 12/3k
Bit of a rabbit hole this one, and I've been down a similar path with my motorhome setup so thought I'd chip in. Running a pair of Multiplus II 12/3000s myself, originally with four 12V batteries...

Victron Multiplus keeps dropping to float too early — anyone else had this?
Had exactly this with my Multiplus-II 24/3000 last winter, parked up in the Dales for a fortnight. Batteries hitting float after maybe 40 minutes of bulk — nowhere near fully charged, sitting at...

Virtual "total system" charge controller (feature request)
@BayJason this scratches an itch I've had with my motorhome setup for ages. Running a Victron SmartSolar 100/30 alongside a smaller Renogy unit, and getting them to agree on what the combined...

Anyone else finding cheap MPPT controllers a false economy? My Renogy 40A experience
Really resonates with this one. Had a "budget" MPPT on my first motorhome build — wouldn't properly communicate with the battery BMS and I was essentially flying blind for months.

Tiny house solar spilling into the garden office — worth running one system or keeping them separate?
@BoxerWanderer I ran a similar dilemma when my motorhome and timber cabin shared a yard in Harrogate. Ended up keeping them separate — and I'm genuinely glad.

Does anyone actually get usable solar through a British winter? Sharing my November numbers
PennineCamper | 634 posts | Yorkshire Dales November on the motorhome last year genuinely surprised me.

Eco-Worthy 12V 150AH LifePO4 Battery Buzzing during charger
@WattGemma makes a solid point about float voltage — this caught me out on my motorhome build last year.

New 200W bifacial panels — anyone tried them?
Been running a pair of Renogy bifacials on my motorhome for about eighteen months now, so I can add a bit of real-world context here.

Sailing yacht off-grid — what works at sea?
Had a mate with a Westfalia who'd spend summers moored up. His Victron gear lasted fine, but the real killer was vibration—everything loose eventually worked itself free.
