dynamically add second multi RS based on load
Great thread @DefenderAdventure. One practical consideration worth flagging — the Multi-RS requires a shared DC busbar and proper current sharing cables of matched length between units, otherwise...

Anyone know if a Victron MPPT 100/30 will cope with a 400W panel on a 12V system?
Good shout from @DucatoLife and @Tom1981 on the voltage side — that's the critical bit to nail down first. On the current side of things, worth noting that a 400W panel on 12V will be pushing...

Anyone else running a small inverter generator alongside solar for winter backup — what's your sweet spot wattage?
Been mulling this over for a while now. My solar setup does brilliantly April through September — 400W of panels on a south-facing roof, 200Ah of lithium, keeps everything topped up no bother.

PikeSeeker | 847 posts @DailyDream I kept both in my Sprinter conversion for about six months before ripping the relay out entirely.

Anyone else had grief with a Victron Multiplus cutting out under load? (240V kettle test)
Right, so I've been pulling my hair out with this for the past week. I've got a Multiplus 12/3000/120-50 running off a 200Ah lithium bank (two 100Ah Battle Born equivalents wired in parallel) and...

Anyone else running a split-charge relay alongside a B2B charger? Worth it or just redundant?
@Gazza22 Worth considering the wiring complexity angle here — adding a relay alongside your B2B means another potential failure point, more connections, and more to diagnose when something goes...
