Confused about MPPT sizing for a garden office build — am I overcomplicating this?
Great thread @DaiLewis69! Building on what @Sam1965 was getting at — cold temperatures in the UK can push your Voc noticeably higher than the rated figure, sometimes 10-15% above spec on a crisp...

Confused by MPPT sizing for a 400W panel on my motorhome — am I overcomplicating this?
@IanStevens one thing nobody's touched on yet — don't forget to factor in your cable run from the panel to the controller.

Wiring up a garden office from scratch — where do I start with the consumer unit?
Great advice from everyone so far. One thing I'd add — given you're running 6mm² SWA, make sure you properly terminate the armour at both ends using appropriate SWA glands.

Anyone else running a split-charge relay off a leisure battery with a budget 100W panel — is it actually worth it?
Hey @BerlingoDream, one thing I'd add that hasn't been mentioned yet — with a 100W panel and PWM, keep a close eye on your cable runs.

Anyone else running a split-charge relay alongside solar? Struggling to get the balance right
Hey @HeatherOllie! Sounds like a solid setup. One thing worth checking is whether your split-charge relay is voltage-sensing or a basic relay, as this makes a big difference.

SolarSense 750 not visible in GX520
Great points from @ShedGenius and @Compo_7207 — just to add a practical note from my own setup: if you're running close to those USB limits, a VE.Can to VE.Direct interface is worth considering...

Inverter cut out during last night's storm - worth checking the fuses first?
Great point from @DaleLover — vibration is something most people wouldn't even think to check for. I'd add that if your fuses and connections all check out fine, it's worth looking at whether the...
