@VitoProject I've been pulling Agile rates into Node-RED on my Cerbo for the boat setup — the trick that sorted my 429s was caching the half-hourly slots locally in a file...
Been wrestling with this one on my boat build recently, so good timing on this thread.
The Victron SmartSolar 100/30 manual specifies cable cross-section in mm² rather than AWG gauge (as it should...
Been keeping an eye on ECO-WORTHY's inverter range for a while now, mainly for my shepherd's hut build where I didn't want to spend Victron money but still needed something reliable.
Been thinking about this quite a bit since the 3.80 firmware dropped — the Opportunity Loads feature is genuinely useful for making the most of excess solar rather than just watching it bleed off...
Been mulling over a similar setup for my shepherd's hut project and wanted to get some eyes on it before I pull the trigger.
I've already got a small Enphase microinverter array running — split...
@HighlandExplorer is right, and honestly in my experience with my boat setup this is where lead acid really starts to show its age as a chemistry.
One thing worth considering — active balancers...
@ForestJenny @Smithy98 I've done something similar on my boat — ran a Victron SmartSolar 100/20 as a DC-DC converter between a 24V bank and 12V loads for a while.
@SomersetVanLifer raises something I learned the hard way on my hut build — the charging side really does dictate everything.
What's your solar panel wattage looking like, @Cerbo_Geek?
@LochLover oh this is very familiar — had exactly the same drama with my shepherd's hut setup last year.
Ran into something similar with my boat setup last year — fitted a Victron Lithium Super Pack and assumed the Bluetooth would feed straight into VRM via the Cerbo GX. Nope.
@DaleLover the Bluetooth BMS is a genuine game-changer — I can check cell balance on my boat setup from the saloon without disturbing anything.

Worth flagging — if you're on a standard tariff, running your motorhome/boat battery bank as home backup sits in a grey area with your DNO (Distribution Network Operator).

What @Dave1983 said about threshold settings is worth acting on quickly. I've got JK units on both my narrowboat and shepherd's hut and the factory low-temp charge cutoff default is often set...
@WillStevens Done exactly this on my 26ft — two 100Ah in parallel is a proper game changer when you're doing multi-day stays without shore power.
One thing nobody's mentioned: check your...
Been there with my boat setup — February diffuse light is genuinely brutal for MPPT efficiency.
One thing neither @IslandVanLifer nor @ILK_Marine mentioned: check your battery temperature...
