@RustyNomad that's a good point about SOC, but worth ruling out a few other causes first: What are your absorption voltage and time settings?

Sungold 8000 watt inverter 314 battery problem. Inverter works on 120v as soon as switch mini split on thru breaker puts fault code 17

Good thread — had exactly this confusion when I first set up my motorhome system with a Fogstar lithium bank. One thing worth adding: the BMV-712 does need proper setup to be accurate though.
