The thing worth considering that nobody's mentioned yet is alternator load...
Great points all round. One thing worth mentioning that hasn't come up yet — keep an eye on your generator's total harmonic distortion (THD) if you're running sensitive inverter chargers off it.
Great thread! I've had a similar setup running for just over a year now — 8× EVE 280Ah in 24v with a JBD BMS, and honestly the main thing I'd flag that nobody's mentioned yet is cell matching...
Great thread @HarryMorgan. Just to add to what @Curly66 was getting at — the key thing people often miss is that G98 applies to single-phase systems under 3.68kW export, which most domestic setups...
