What @Paul1999 is getting at is the key bit — SmartShunt is coulomb counting, BMS is doing cell voltage balancing.
@Liz1979 the Fronius Primo is an AC-coupled grid-tie inverter, so it won't directly interface with a DC battery bank — it needs AC on its output side to synchronise against.

Yeah so AC Out 1 is your "always on" output — it'll pass shore power through AND invert from batteries.
